I am a healthy, happy, single sailor and ready to enjoy a voyage I've been dreaming about for a long time. I own a sound, seaworthy 44' center cockpit cruising cutter and I am searching for a crew and/or sailmate to help me sail from San Diego or La Paz to New Zealand via the Marquesas, Tahiti, and other South Pacific islands to be determined. Romance may be too much to expect on short notice, but finding a good crew is a hopeful and reasonable expectation.

My departure location is San Diego/Ensenada towards the end of November 2007 and central Mexico (La Paz/Puerto Vallarta/Zeewhat) in early March 2008. I need a reasonably experienced crew person who knows enough sailing to stand a night watch and who will help with boat chores and provisioning. This is not a quick delivery trip. Crew compatibility is essential because the point of this voyage is to have fun, adventure and the experience of a lifetime. I prefer female crew because they are, frankly, usually easier to get along with. Please be (like me) intelligent, healthy, non-smoking, non-seasick, and non-complaining. I'll send you my website link with lots of boat information and photos if you are interested. If you sail with me to Cabo or Puerto Vallarta that's a good shakedown for crew and boat to see how we get along. If you are interested at all write me and we can discuss the options and details. It should be fun. That's the point, isn't it? Click here for photos Click here for info And... I'm a bit over 60. It just doesn't work to be older than 60 on the Internet, but you would not notice that if you met me and I ask you to reserve your judgement ant turn off your age filter until you have met me in person. Thanks.
