Beth (Rose Byrne), a smart and beautiful writer who is getting over a failed relationship meets Adam (Hugh Dancy) who lives in the downstairs apartment. Adam is a good looking but very odd individual who perplexes almost everyone he meets. Adam suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome and does all he can to overcome his shortcomings. An unusual relationship ensues while Adam faces obstacles that he has doubts about overcoming and Beth struggles with her past relationship. What takes place is a lesson for everyone and lives are changed forever.
